Mother Vannini College of Nursing was established with 4 years B.Sc. Nursing programme in the year 2001. It emphasizes on value education, intellectual and clinical training of the students so that they excel in nursing career. The college is affiliated to Dr.YSR University of Health Sciences Vijayawada and recognized by Indian Nursing Council & Andhra Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council, Vijayawada.

Admission Requirements:

Female Candidates for admission into B.sc.(Nursing)(4YDC)should have completed 17 years and should not be more than 35 years on 31st December of the year of admission.

Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years in case of SC & ST candidates.

Educational Qualifications:

o Candidates should have passed intermediate Examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing) Examination Conducted by The Board of intermediate Examination in Andhra Pradesh (With Bridge Course) or any Examination Recognized as equivalent thereto.

o Candidates should have secured not less than 45% Marks in the optional subjects of the intermediate examination or Equivalent examination. In case of SC & ST candidates, it shall be not less than 40% of Marks

o Candidates should attend NEET or Common Entrance Exams conducted in their own native States.

o The candidates should have good health and morale character.

o Candidates should possess good moral character, interest in working with people, maturity, right motivation, self-directed learning ability and a strong sense of responsibility.

o Good knowledge of English is essential since the entire course is conducted in English and the candidate must be prepared to learn Telugu the local language.

The completed application form is to be sent to the above address with the following enclosures by post:

1. Attested copy of Mark List of S.S.L.C./SSC showing identity, date of birth and other particulars.

2. Attested copy of the Mark List of Intermediate /PUC/PDC Examination or its equivalent.

3. Transfer Certificate (TC)/ School Leaving Certificate from the College last attended.

4. Study Certificates from 6th Standard/Class to 12th Standard /PUC/PDC/INTERMEDIATE).

5. Migration Certificate (For Candidates who have completed their qualifying examination under Universities outside Andhra Pradesh). 

6. Community/Minority/Caste Certificate from local authorities in English.

7. Aadhar Card Copy of Student and Parents.

8. Birth Certificate or baptism certificate.

9. Certificate of Physical Fitness from a Registered (Govt.) Medical Practitioner.

10. Recent passport size photographs – 2.

11. Conduct Certificate from the parish Priest/Pastors in the case of Christians.

12. The Candidate should attend NEET exam and submit the Admit Card and Score Card.

13. A covering letter in the candidate's own writing with the List of enclosure.

Entrance/Selection test

Selection of the candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by University or competent authority.

Duration

Duration of the course shall be four years. 

Vacation/Holidays

Vacation shall be given in each year as per the INC Norms.
