At Mother Vannini College of Nursing, we believe that true health encompasses both the body and mind. In celebration of International Yoga Day, the college organized a special Yoga Awareness and Practice Session to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and spiritual harmony among students and staff.
The session began with an introduction to the importance of yoga in daily life, emphasizing its role in stress management and overall wellness especially vital for nursing professionals who dedicate their lives to the care of others. Trained instructors guided students through various asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation techniques, encouraging mindfulness and inner balance. The participants experienced a sense of peace and rejuvenation, reflecting the essence of the day's theme "Yoga for Harmony and Peace."
The event successfully fostered awareness about the benefits of yoga as a holistic approach to health, inspiring students to incorporate it into their daily routine for better focus, strength, and compassion in their service to humanity.
