As Virginia Henderson, the pioneer nurse leader said, the nurse should become the consciousness of the unconsciousness, the eyes for a newly blind, and the leg for an amputee, the confidence for an young mother, and the love of life for the suicidal of today’s broken world.
Let us all do introspection and realize that we are the marvellous creation of God’s hand and commit ourselves to the nursing profession.
